A gentle, coach-guided way to support deep cellular hydration

Why Hydration Matters More Than You Think

Hey friend — let’s talk about water in a way that actually makes sense for real life.

Just like your food, the water you drink works best when it’s varied and paired with the right support for your cells. Your mitochondria (the little energy engines inside every cell) love good hydration. When your gut lining and skin barrier are healthy, your body holds onto water better instead of losing it all day long. This isn’t a one-and-done thing. True hydration is a lifelong habit that helps you feel clearer, more energetic, and better prepared if you ever try fasting or other health resets. It’s one of the simplest ways to support the body’s normal fluid-balance processes and lower stress so your body can stay in a better flow.

PREP: Start These Habits

Think of this week as laying a solid foundation. These simple steps help your body absorb and keep water more effectively.

  1. Daily limeade for minerals: Once or twice a day, make this simple drink (along with your usual herbal teas and mineral or spring water):

    Easy Limeade Recipe

    • Squeeze ½ to 1 whole lime into 12 ounces of water
    • Add ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of sea salt (grey salt such as Celtic Sea Salt) — adjust to taste
  2. Magnesium support: Take Magnesium Citrate or Magnesium Malate once a day, following the directions on the label or your practitioner’s advice.
  3. Move a little: Do the 4-minute workout three times a day. Short and simple is powerful. Watch the 4-minute workout.

You’ve Got This

These steps are meant to feel doable, not overwhelming.

The 3-Day Hydration Protocol

Once a month or once every quarter, consider setting aside three days to focus on mindful, consistent hydration.

During these three days, alternate between drinking natural spring water, which contains beneficial minerals, and distilled or reverse-osmosis (RO) water.

Here's how the protocol works:

  • On the hour: Drink 2–4 ounces of natural spring water.
  • On the half hour: Drink 2–4 ounces of distilled or reverse-osmosis water.
  • Set a reminder: Use your phone or watch to set a timer every 30 minutes to help you stay on schedule.
  • Continue for 10–12 hours each day, repeating the practice for three consecutive days.

The intention of this protocol is to encourage consistent hydration and support the body's natural processes for maintaining fluid balance and eliminating waste.

Both types of water contribute to hydration.

Remember: The goal is to nourish and support your body, not to overwhelm it. Adjust fluid intake to your individual needs, and consult your healthcare professional before beginning, particularly if you have kidney or heart conditions, take diuretics, or have been advised to limit fluids.

Consistency over perfection is the real secret. Listen to your body, stay in touch with your healthcare team, and notice how you feel as you support deeper hydration day by day.
