While many people are aware of the aesthetic drawbacks of carrying extra pounds, a specific type of fat poses a far greater danger to our health—visceral fat. Unlike subcutaneous fat found just beneath the skin, visceral fat surrounds vital organs deep within the abdomen. HIIT: While this is standard information, you should consider studying high-intensity interval training or HIIT.  These are generally easier to accomplish in less time with higher efficiency of work. It’s like this: Sprint or pedal like crazy on a bike for 10 seconds, then rest or active recovery for 20-30 seconds. This speeds up the metabolism and improves metabolic flexibility. My HIIT workouts are about 4 minutes long. Not a difficult feat and with this program it’s hard to say you don’t have time.

Can we stop eating 2 to 3 hours before bed and resume eating a little later in the morning? It’s a good place to start.
