Dehydration is More Common Than You Might Think

Dehydration is a condition that results when the body loses more fluid than it takes in. While dehydration can occur at any time,  it is especially common during hot weather or when participating in strenuous activities.

When the body loses fluids,  it also loses essential electrolytes,  such as sodium and potassium. This can lead to symptoms such as thirst,  fatigue,  dizziness,  and headache. While dehydration can be easily remedied by drinking water or other fluids,  severe cases can be life-threatening. Chemicals in the water can cause dehydration.

Lack of minerals in distilled or reverse osmosis water can cause dehydration. Below I’ll share a protocol on how to stay hydrated.

City Tap Water is a Cause of Dehydration!

One of the most common causes of dehydration is metro tap water. Metro tap water is water that has been treated to remove impurities and make it safe to drink. However, the process of treatment also removes many of the minerals and electrolytes that are essential for proper hydration.

As a result,  people who drink metro water are at risk of becoming dehydrated,  especially if they do not consume other fluids to replenish their bodies’ stores of electrolytes.

In addition,  metro water often has a high sodium content,  which can further contribute to dehydration. To avoid these dangers,  it is important to drink plenty of fluids and consume foods that are high in electrolytes when consuming metro water.

If you want to see regular tap water causing dehydration just take a bath and soak for about 15 minutes. Do your fingertips wrinkle? Yes? You are dehydrating your skin. So if you drink regular tap water,  you may be wrinkling your epithelial link of your alimentary canal.

Spring water is best for a quick solution and it helps to add Celtic salt which contains about 60 different minerals to help rehydrate your body. Water passes into the cells in a passive manner. There is no pump to get the water into the cells and there is no release valve to allow impurities to pass out of the cells. It takes electricity.

The Hydration Protocol Explained

Each Mark Represents 4 oz of Water

There is a protocol I learned from one of my doctor mentors who studies the action of cells and the practice is this: Once a month or so |  take three days to do the hydration protocol: Set your watch to beep every 30 minutes. We’re going to drink four ounces (4 oz) of water every 30 minutes alternating between spring water with four ounces (4 oz) of distilled water. We’ll do this from say 7.00 am to 7.00  pm.

Then repeat this for three days. What you are doing is allowing electricity to act as the push pull allowing input of positively charged mineralized spring water to enter the cells and then alternating with negatively charged distilled or reverse osmosis water.

Eat Your Water!

On days when not doing the protocol |  it is suggested to drink 8 oz of water first thing in the morning with a squeezed lime |  a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a pinch of Celtic salt. Also remember to eat some of your hydration. Yes |  you heard right. Eat your water with vegetables such as celery and cucumber! It’s a great way to start your day with ten slices of cucumber with a little salt.

Related to dehydration can spawn uric acid levels increase and remain high. The Dangers of High Uric Acid Levels Goes Far Beyond Gout and Kidney Stones.

The Trouble with High Uric Acid

High uric acid levels can lead to a number of problems,  including gout,  kidney stones,  and kidney damage. But it also causes high blood pressure,  cardiovascular disease and more. Uric acid is a waste product that is produced when the body breaks down purines. Purines are found in many foods,  including beef,  pork,  poultry,  seafood,  and beer.

When uric acid levels become too high,  it can cause the formation of crystals in the joints,  which leads to gout. In addition,  high uric acid levels can also lead to kidney stones and kidney damage. Treatment for high uric acid levels typically involves lifestyle changes,  such as losing weight and avoiding purine-rich foods.

Medications may also be prescribed in order to help lower uric acid levels. Allopurinol is a medication that is often prescribed but once you start on it,  you are destined to stay on it the rest of your life!

If you are struggling with high uric acid levels,  you may want to consider adding quercetin to your diet. Quercetin is a plant-based compound that has been shown to lower uric acid levels in the body.

It is found in foods like onions,  apples,  and green tea. Adding quercetin-rich foods to your diet can help to reduce uric acid levels and prevent gout attacks. You can also take quercetin supplements,  but be sure to talk to your doctor before starting any new supplement regimen. There could be interactions with certain medications.

Quercetin is a flavonoid found in a variety of fruits,  vegetables,  and herbs. It has been shown to have numerous health benefits,  including reducing inflammation,  boosting immunity,  and preventing cell damage. Quercetin is also a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. To learn more about the dangers and methods of avoiding high uric acid,  check out Dr David Perlmutter’s book Drop Acid.
The best sources of quercetin include:

Dietary Sources

  • Foods high in quercetin:
    • red onions
    • apples
    • leafy greens
    • berries
  • Herbs high in quercetin include:
    •  St. John’s wort
    • ginkgo biloba
    • gotu kola

An easy way to increase your intake of quercetin is to add more of these foods and herbs to your diet. You can also take quercetin supplements,  but it is always best to get your nutrients from whole foods when you can. When you can’t,  here’s a video to learn more about quercetin supplements: Quercetin – The Best Natural Antihistamine – Foods With Quercetin – Dr.Berg

Lastly, it’s important to increase your intake of Vitamin C. We do this by consuming more raw vegetables and fruit. Cooking vegetables will destroy vitamin C since it is water soluble, best to eat low sugar berries like dark, tart cherry, blueberries, etc.

If you supplement with Vitamin C, it has to be done throughout the day since it is water soluble it won’t hang around for very long in the body. Our vitamin C is combined with co-factors to increase absorption and add some slow release of this important vitamin.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant which supports healthy bones, cartilage, teeth and gums. It helps protect cells against environmental pollutants and deficiencies in the daily diet. Our Ultra Complex

C-1,000 mg not only contains high amounts of vitamin C but also contains Rutin, Acerola, Hesperidin and Citrus Bioflavonoid which together provide excellent immune system support. Vitamin C is needed especially as a support for the immune system but vital to those who have higher than normal uric acid. One tablet every 3 or 4 hours is advisable to lower the chance of crystals forming into gout in the joints or the formation of kidney stones. It’s important to note that eating as many raw vegetables is a benefit as well.

This is our new label. Production for a new batch is in process. Order today and be the first in line to benefit from this Vitamin C complex.
