It’s Personal Part VI. -Multi Vitamins and Antioxidants
Multivitamins: Helpful or not?
If you eat a large salad of freshly grown local garden vegetables twice a day and lightly steam more veggies, then maybe you are getting most of the nutrients and micro nutrients you need.
If not, take a plant base multivitamin.
There is a twenty year old argument about synthetic vs plant based vitamins. Let me settle this for you.
Take plant based whenever you can and then synthetic if you can’t get the plant based.
A one a day is better than none.
Three a day is better than one a day since you burn through these vitamins and mineral quickly. Take one in the morning, take one in your pocket for lunch. Take the third at night with supper.
Say goodbye to fatigue.
Say goodbye to lethargy. (True Vitality Multi – for men and women, .59 cents a day on continuity) If you are with me this far, I am sure you can make it! Almost done.
In 2006, one of my vendor mentors in the business suggested I attend the semi-annual nutritional and natural products trade show. “Look for something new and learn. Make friends.” I did.
Are Antioxidants Important?
Here is a one a day that means business. It’s called Epicor. It’s not a vitamin but a rare concoction of ingredients that starts out as brewer’s yeast but turns into an immune support super star antioxidant. Keeps the flu away in winter and allergies at bay in the summer. I can’t say enough good things about it. The price tag $.50 a day on continuity.
Other antioxidants that make sense. These can be rotated in and out of your supplement regimen.
