Dialog

questions

Wikipedia says, “Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.”

Bull, I say.
Well, let me not be so harsh.
Marketing I think is the activities surrounding building relationships with prospects, customers and clients.
Businesses do one thing. They solve problems.
The best businesses have a dialog with prospects, customers and clients.
Marketing in its most precise form, will guide a prospect into having a sales conversation. Marketing informs the prospect and primes them to get enough information to make a firm buying decision. No one wants to be sold, but everyone likes to buy.

No one buys anything without a need. Or a want. Or a desire. Or some pain they can no longer tolerate. That’s when the sale is made once you ascertain which of these, or which combination of these, drive your customers to buy from you.
All that being said, I’d like to know:
why you buy from me?
what problem do I help you solve?
what problems are still nagging you that I may be able to help solve for you?
Just hit reply and let me have it! Now is your chance to sound off!
