This post is a work in progress. I will keep working on it for the next few days.
I want to make the case for Daily Affirmations. The practice of writing out goals adds form and context to your life. Your personal goals, what you define as what you want out of life are important. If you are not proactive in life then by default you are reactive and you will find yourself being buffeted about by every occurrence, every event. If you don’t set the pace of the race, others will do so for you.
Your goals can easily become your daily affirmations by phrasing them in the accomplished and eternal now.
Ask Better Questions, Get Better Answers
Who Am I?
What legacy do I want to leave my family twenty, thirty years from now?
What virtues define who I am?
What do I stand for as a matter of principle?
What is egregious to me and violates my personal code?
What do I want to accomplish in life:
What do I want to accomplish in the next five years?
What do I want to accomplish in the next one year?
What do I want to accomplish this quarter?
What do I want to accomplish this month?
What do I want to accomplish this week?
What do I want to accomplish today?
