Metabolize Fat

Once fat is stored in body tissue it’s difficult to get it released from storage. Acetyl-L-Carnitine has been shown to improve the movement of fat from storage back to an energy form via the liver. Of course, this doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It doesn’t happen as quickly with a poor diet and the good that this supplement can help you achieve is dependent on other lifestyle issues.

Alpha-Lipoic-Acid has an interesting effect on fat storage. It tends to shrink the receptacles that can store fat.

Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is made by the body. They are found in every cell.  ALA helps turn glucose into energy. Antioxidants attack, capture and recycle  “free radicals,” waste products created when the body turns food into energy.  Free radicals cause harmful chemical reactions that can damage cells in the body, making it harder for the body to fight off infections. If you can imagine it, free radicals are like tiny hot coals burning holes and causing damage to cells. Antioxidants work to put out the fire. Free radicals also damage organs and tissues. A steady diet of antioxidants are necessary to keep free radicals under control. You can get some with colorful fruits and vegetables, but unless you are a very healthy eater, then supplementation is required.

Other antioxidants work only in water (such as vitamin C) or fatty tissues (such as vitamin E), but alpha-lipoic acid is both fat- and water-soluble.

Take  1 capsule twice a day just before taking food.

Other products you can add to this regimen: Milk Thistle and Dandelion Root.
